game overview
For the launch of its Zuul, Destroyer of Shins exhibit, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) we partnered to provide two interactive experiences highlighting Zuul crurivastator's impressive clubbed tail.
Challenges:
The experiences needed to be engaging and accessible, and appeal to children and young families – while maintaining Royal Ontario Museum curation standards and fact presentation.
The Exhibit
The Zuul experience at the Royal Ontario Museum consisted of two interactive kiosks. The first was a motion-based game called Zuul Smash Club and the second was a pair of custom arcade cabinets containing a dino-fighting game called Zuul Duel. Sinking Ship Interactive designed and developed all aspects of the gameplay and the ROM exhibit team handled the installation and maintenance.
