FIFA+ Collect is a platform where football fans can own and
collect digital collectibles featuring iconic moments from
FIFA's history, including the FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women's
World Cup. It allows fans to acquire, trade, and showcase these
digital assets, offering a unique way to engage with the sport's
legacy.
I was involved in every part of this project, from soup to nuts
– including pitching features to FIFA, working with Marketing
and Sales teams, and Lead Designer for all systems and features.
Challenges:
For FIFA+ Collect, I focused on designing and balancing the
in-game economy to optimize player progression and engagement. I
worked closely with marketing teams to align game features with
target audience expectations and market trends, ensuring strong
product-market fit.
The outcome of my work, including fine-tuning price points and
reward systems, was successfully maintaining game’s balance
while maximizing retention and monetization, resulting in
improved user engagement and sustained growth.
Additional Contributions:
I was responsible for the full design of the Challenge system in
FIFA+ Collect, creating a framework that encouraged daily player
engagement and long-term retention. The key focus was to craft
challenges that were both motivating and balanced, offering
meaningful rewards without disrupting the in-game economy.
