Compubot Plus is a fun learn-to-code maze-game that lets you assemble amazing virtual robots and then program them to move around and solve problems. Over 60 levels of fun but challenging mazes await as you become an expert programmer of cool androids.
As an additional feature, the player can use augmented reality to view the puzzle from multiple angles to discover hidden dangers and secret power-ups.
Challenge:
One of the most challenging designs of my career – teach kids how
to code.
How do you introduce kids to coding concepts, from variables,
iteration, functions, and more – all in an easy to learn, but
most importantly FUN mobile app?
Outcome:
The game went on to garner an Emmy Award Nomination for Outstanding Interactive Media Enhancement.
